What is difference between C# and C#.net?

C#.NET is a newer version of C#. C# is being phased out by Microsoft; it has been replaced by C#.NET

What is difference between C# and C#.net?
C#.net is propreitary software owned by microsoft so they can control the market.
Reply:Nothing. C# was built from the ground up for .NET. There would be no C# if it weren't for .NET.


It is not like VB and VB.NET. You see VB existed before .NET, but C# is for .NET
