I want to take a C-Sharp course and need to know if it is anything similar to VB.net and that if it'll help me when I take the VB.net coue in Unversity for preparation? Would you reccomend it? (I can't take a VB.net course right nwo to prepare since I don't have much time and nto many colleges offer it)

I recommended you that you can get help at http://homework.hyparoffice.com/

you can post your requirement here.
Reply:There are so many differences between VB.Net and C# that it is easier to count the similarities. Only similar things between VB.Net and C# are: they use the same framework and they both precompile into the same byte code and then it is compiled and run at runtime.

I would recommend C# over VB.Net because C# is a lot closer in syntax to C/C++ and Java. I also find C# is a much better language because it does not have any of the quirks of VB. (No two commands on one line and no commands spread over more than one line (_ is very annoying) and more...)
